Trina Solar and Matrix Renewables inaugurate 20MW solar park in Colombia

The Bosques de los Llanos I solar farm has an installed capacity of 20 MW, and will generate “51 GWh of energy per year, equivalent to what 23,800 families consume, and will allow the reduction of about 19,450 tons of CO2 per year”, detailed the Colombian Minister for Mines and Energy. He further announced that there will be 10 solar farms with 300 megawatts that will come into operation in 2020.

Treasury of Colombia reduced sales of dollars; 17 mn in September

The National Treasury Directorate of the Ministry of Finance sold dollars for $ 17 million during September 2020, being the lowest sale of the year. With this operation, it has accumulated net sales of $ 8,983 million since March, as reported by the broker Casa de Bolsa. September sales have been the lowest of the year, after the resources planned to contain the crisis caused by Covid-19 have already been monetized.

Khiron reports 450% growth in Colombian med weed prescriptions

Khiron Life Sciences Corp. has provided a corporate update on its global medical cannabis operations, including accelerating growth of 450 per cent in its Colombian medical cannabis prescriptions, with more than 3,500 prescriptions now filled. In addition, it supplied medical cannabis to Project Twenty21 participants in the U.K., and began medical cannabis sales in Peru.
