Colombia’s external debt: 54,8% of GDP

According to Colombia’s Central Bank, the national public and private external debt totalled $147,822 million in November 2020, 54.8% of GDP. The public sector had obligations for $82,994 million and the private $ 64,828 million. It represents an increase of 7.1% compared to the same month in 2019. However, it was lower than June 2020 when it hit the country’s highest record, 55.6% of GDP.
