Colombia’s GDP growth plummeted by 6.8% in 2020. Lower than expected

In 2020, the economy shrunk by 6.8%, said DANE. The worst figure since records began in 1905. However, it grew faster than expected during the last quarter of 2020, rebounding consumer spending. From November to December, GDP rose 6% pushed by 17.8% surge in retail activity.
