Between January and November 2020, client deposits in Colombian banks passed from $16 billion (COP 60 billion) to $21,9 billion (COP 79,9 billion). An increase of $5 billion (COP 19,3 billion). Similarly, the number of clients increased from 59,8 million to 65, 7 million during the same period.
In 2020, Colombia's Central Bank made $2,4 billion in profits (COP 7.5 billion). Mainly due to the appreciation of its international reserves. The National Government largely receives these profits to meet fiscal needs.

Xantia-Xamuels SAS ESP, a Bogota-based firm that specialises in residential and commercial solar arrays, will build three 9.9-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Colombia. The national government has declared these projects as serving public utility and social interest.
