The pandemic has left $560 mn loss in public transport

According to the Latin American Association of Integrated Systems for Sustainable Urban Mobility (Simus), the deficit amounts to almost $560 million (COP 2 billion) in Colombia. Bogota’s TransMilenio is the most affected as 1.8 million passengers per day currently use it instead of the 4 million before the pandemic. Local governments have asked the national government to finance 70% of their deficit.
