300 new solar panels on public buildings in Barranquilla

The local government of Barranquilla has selected two consortia to supply the energy demand of its facilities from renewable sources. The first winning group, formed by Chicago-based Hecate Energy LLC and ReCap Solar Colombia SAS, will build a solar power plant expected to produce 50 MW. The second group, composed of Singapore-based Entoria Energy Colombia SAS and Colombian firm Empresa Energia de Pereira SAS ESP (Enerpereira), will install 300 solar panels across public buildings and venues.
