In February 2021, the value of Colombian exports increased by 0.04% to $ 2,9 billion, revealed DANE. Multinational building materials company Cemex is launching a new type of cement that aim to reduce up to 40% the emission of C02 in its production process. Colombia, along with Guatemala, is the first country in Latin American with this new line of products. However, the company expects to expand it to the rest of the region within this year.
