Colombia to produce 12% of energy from renewable sources by 2023

To increase to 12% the share of energy from non-conventional renewable sources, diverse companies plan to increase their green investments. In 2021, Celcia is investing about $349 million (Co$ 1.3 trillion). EPM announced plans to invest between $500 million and $1.5 billion in 40 different projects in the longer term. By 2026 the central government expects 6,180 MW from no conventional sources.
